First, thanks for getting me all riled up Derek.

We have our winners! Good thing this is the last contest as we did not get much participation. Maybe I should have done movies that you all are more familiar with. I knew that 2 were pretty easy and available on the same dvd.

This kind of sums up the problem to me. (I am in no way knocking people for not knowing the answers to Ron's trivia contest. I didn't get a single one correct. It's the fact that so few people even had the desire to try.)

The desire to achieve any true depth of knowledge into the world of Poly Pop seems entirely lacking these days.

The fact that hardly anyone thinks that anything is wrong is what's wrong.

I've been on TC for over three years now, and although rationally I know that Bong can't bash me for saying something stupid, I feel that I have a healthy respect for everyone who reads TC, and I don't want to muck it up or dumb it down with all of my attaboys and yippee skippees and countdowns to all the fun and excitement that awaits the clamoring masses.

When I first joined, I used to check TC every half hour or so because for one, I had no life, and secondly, the content used to be so entirely entertaining that I couldn't look away.

I guess I'm just spoiled. I came along at a time when it seemed like there wasn't a question that couldn't be answered by those original "core" members who shared their knowledge freely and created a fantastic data base. Even the off topic posts were great and fascinating reads. Oh well. Things change. (Exception: The Tonga Hut Art Show thread is a 98% pure gem.)
