I just felt I needed to comment on the whole company/utilitarian/artist thing. I just think the perception of what art is here in the States is wrong. Ceramics get a bad rap, here its basically just seen as a "craft", no where near the prestige of paint on canvas. Often I see myself getting put into the Manufacturer category and not the artist category. I create originals and duplicates just the same as other artists. I don't see how a painter having prints made is any different. -stuckie
