Hey Johnny thanks for technical drawing! My gong is actually pretty close to that shape. The 5/8 inch thickness is as thin as it goes; it's much thicker at the bottom (like the drawing).

It sounds pretty good to me! The walnut is hard so the tone is sharp. I'll get some pictures up soon.
