Since Christiki gave this a bump I'll give our update: We have decided to stay in Hawaii after my husband retires from the Air Force this coming summer. We are going to downsize from the beautiful home we are currently in. So now we are looking at everything differently. We still love the Windward side. Three other couples we socialize with have decided to stay, our son got married and is working a decent job teaching sailing at Kaneohe Marine Corps Base, We are going to be grandparents and why not sail these islands first!

Here are Vic and Jenn at the beach where they got married. I sewed their wedding attire, her sarong and head scarf and his Aloha shirt. It is in a white-on-white Hawaiian print. It is hard to see in these photos, but in person it was just the right touch. I did this with 7 days notice, and put together a wonderful reception! I wore an 8 year old outfit I pulled out of the closet 35 minutes prior to the ceremony....good thing it wasn't all about me! Anyway, If anyone out there is looking for custom made wedding attire, call me! Jenn is 4'9" and Vic is 5'11".

My husband has said he may take another job. Time will tell, as he is wanting to sail!
