I would be very interested in such an event. I would suggest holding it in Wildwood, NJ at the beach where there are alot of cool 1950s motels and some tikis (a few, not many). I could imagine a tiki event at the Caribbean Motel in Wildwood, its got so much retro flair, its amazing! The rooms at the 50s motels are relatively inexpensive and the vibe there would be perfect for a tiki rockabilly burlesque event, theres the beach and boardwalk, plus people could scoot up to Atlantic city if they wanted to gamble. Plus the NJ shore is easy to get to. Just my two cents.
