Benella: Thanks for the vote of confidance but Im not convinced myself yet... The other two are contemporary adze-forms also in 'Aussie Black'. Kinda groovy but perhaps a bit simplistic & obvious stocking-fillers for this swanky affair; Ive seen a sneak preview of a couple of the others' work & am wishing Id taken it a bit more seriously. Where I combine jade with paua shell, this guy is using gold, titanium & damascus steel - yikes! Throw me a life jacket...

Gman: Thanks for the comps on the pebble piece. Sadly it's not for you & is going to recieve paua eyes; so there. :wink: In all honesty I wrangle with 'eyes - no eyes' constantly. Many people dont like them, but I am finding more & more, a tiki just doesnt seem finished without them...
