GD drummer and ethnomusicologist Mickey Hart has long studied and sought to preserve vanishing indigenous musics worldwide. Hart has used his state-of-the-art field recording gear and produced dozens of albums for The World label as well as Smithsonian Institutes' Folkways label... including Hawaiian Drum Dance Chants: Sounds of Power in Time.
