Kia ora gang.

Not a lot from me this week; all sorts of interruptions* & non-tiki/non-carving stuff happening. The family is home again...

A Big Io Orana to those participating in the Great Tiki-Swap of '07? Who's looking forward t that? I know I am. I think 'carve first, then draw' a good decision; you just never know what may come along to halt you & then you have one of a committed pair let down. Bring it on.

Thanks for your comps Haikai: its the high oxygen-content of the air down here that makes us so "crazy" :) , that & the stone dust perhaps? (only joking, Im getting carefuller & carefuller in this regard and am thinking of getting an extractor myself - Ben)

The only carving done this week was finishing off the Wide Boy:

(the colour is actually more like this, taken during production)

*And here is one of the main interruptions of the week: my new guard-dog "Cashew" - awwwww, aint she purdy... (yes I know there is a place for this sort of shameless display but Ive never been in there, never will, & wont bother you with my little darling again, but look at dat widdle face... :)

For those who arent cursing me; she is an Australian Terrier X'ed with a Cairn Terrier. S'there :D

Take care all. Happy carving
