Buzzy's sleepless nights at the farm:

It starts with the dove. They never shut up-all night long

They're kind of quiet, but every once in a while they get the stupid donkeys going

The donkeys startle the little rooster closest to them

Then he wakes up the other little rooster and they go back and forth for a while

If I'm lucky, the big guy only chimes in about 1 out of every 5 uprisings during the night

He's super mean. I'm not a cock lover, but...

I'm kind of envious of his lifestyle. In my next life I want to be the sex machine rooster. Check the guy girl ratio there.

There is usually a calm half hour between 430 and 5 in the morning. Unless a possum or whatever i hear gets all these hens going by walking on their roof

There are twenty chickens screaming at the top of their lungs when that happens.
The owl, suprisingly, is very quiet at night

I cannot wait to get back to the big city and get some peace and quiet.
