Thise heads, as badly drawn as they are, look remarkably simialar to those packaged 'Tiki Coasters' you get from places like Archie McPhees... haha!

The triptych, if you will, of raw savage power, is a clever juxtapose to the pastel colours of the background, reminding the viewer of the constant struggle between our animal nature and our modern facade. The 'art brut' rendering which eschews the sexist, classist and outmoded concept that one must 'learn technique' or 'master skills' in order to be an artist is a liberating move forward. The medium, which cleverly looks like children's markers, reminds us of a more innocent time.
