Advice for a home bar? - General Tiki

I'm also looking for a bunch of bamboo, since the bar itself is nearly complete (so now it's on to the rest of the basement: flooring and walls). As for the bar itself, it's 42 inches high with an 11-inch overhang. I'd like to get a footrest, but I think to keep with the theme I'm going to go for a hefty piece of bamboo, maybe 3-inch bamboo, rather than your typical old footrest. I've been behind in posting photos. More to come (I'll try tonight).
