Tonight I got some of the back ground clouds roughly colored. A weird thing about acrylic paint. When you mix a color, it's one shade. Then, after you apply it to the canvas it dries one shade darker! So, you have to actually mix your colors lighter than you want them so they come out right on the canvas. You're looking at the second coat of paint over the clouds - the first was way too dark. This may also be a bit dark. Aloha from the volcano!
