Some of us will be at Forbidden Island tomorrow night. Say Hi if you make it there.

If time is limited, I would see the following in order of most important to least (though they're all worth a visit):

Forbidden Island - best drinks, decor, atmosphere, service, crowd
Tonga Room - great decor and atmosphere, crappy drinks and food, service is hit or miss
Trader Vic's Emeryville - great decor, good to great drinks (depends on the bartender), good food
Kona Club - great decor
Trader Vic's San Francisco - the decor is better in Emeryville, but in general the drinks and food are a bit better here
Trad'r Sam's - um, I won't say anything so I don't piss off Martiki, ha ha
