Aloha! There have really been some great finds lately. This thread keeps the wind in my sails so I have the strength to visit the next flea market. Here are a few finds that I and my Wahine have found in the last few weeks. Truthfully, my Wahine scored the most. For your viewing pleasure, we have a Cocojoes tiki statue, a HIP hula girl ash tray, two swizzle sticks (Trader Vics and Don Ho), a tiki nut cracker and the coolest item a book entitled: "The Hawaii Book - Story of Our Island Paradise" by Verne LLoyd. The book was published by J.G. Ferguson Publishing Company Chicago copyright 1961. It is a compilation of selected articles and stories relating to the history of Hawaii. Here are a few of the colorful and interesting pictures in the book Good luck and happy hunting.... |
