Friggin Keeeripes! Drove to Rancho Cucamonga. Just got hotter and hotter as we got nearer and nearer. I'm guessing they have a deal with the weather folks just to keep the name in the public eye. I mean how else would folks hear about it other than Frank Zappa? So as I was saying, it's not like it soesn't get hot n Van Nuys. It does! But the San fernando Valley has all these bizarre micro-climates. My wife has an excellent gardening book (Sunset Western Gardens $16.95) that explains it all. A couple of years ago we moved a total distance of (I KID YOU NOT) 1.65 miles and now she can't grow a Beefeater tomato to save her life. At the old place it was, POW, massive ginormous ones. I don't get it.

Anyone have any tips for that?
