Today's Los Angeles Times Show Section has a $5 off per person (Limit 4) Aquarium Events Discover the rich and diverse cultures of the Pacific Islands through traditional craft demonstrations, ethnic cuisine, educational programs, storytelling, and an ocean of entertainment, including music and dance performances. This year’s Pacific Islander Festival will highlight the birth of surfing in the Pacific Islands. Performances, music, children’s activities, and more will highlight Pacific Islander cultures’ ties to surfing. Watch hula performances, listen to Tahitian drumming, try out ancient Hawai’ian games, enjoy island cuisine, and admire artisans as they create traditional weavings. The Pacific Islander Festival will feature various cultures, including Hawaiian, Chamorro, and Tahitian. Sunday, Jun 3, 2007 Cost: Included with general admission to guests.
