I'm not an expert in the area but I'm fairly sure that a plaster mold isn't going to work for chocolate. A silicone mold should work though I haven't seen a multi part silicone mold for chocolate pieces. Usually they use a hard plastic for chocolate molds regardless of if you are making a chocolate piece that is hollow with no opening, hollow with an opening or a solid piece.

I'd probably not want to make this sucker solid though as that would be a fair amount of chocolate. Hollow with an opening would be the easiest, very similar to slip casting only the temperature of the mold acts as a release agent.
