I bought a Deni ice crusher last summer, and after a few uses have relegated to the back shelf. I found I needed to use the cocktail ice with the holes through the middle..."solid" cocktail ice or bigger ice cubes took too long and was too much of a strain on the motor. The ice that comes out is closer to shaved ice than crushed ice, IMHO. And using my manual "swing away" ice crusher is much faster.
