Yes, the service was slow and I was always worried that I might miss an upcoming event. However, given that I really love Shelter Island and Humphries Half-moon, I think the Crown Resort was ultimately the best place to host the event. The self-contained feel was incredible. I wonder, has Humphries ever been considered. They have a stage and hosting area for vendors - what they are lacking is a restaurant, except that Bali Hai is less than a 1000 feet away.
