Yo, Craigo! I'm back from bow-fishing, so give me a call. I would like to talk dremel and rotating bits. I think using some different burs will give you a smoother bottom and better effect. Or, you could use a smallish V-liner and make it really tight. You gots one a those?

Jeeze! Does he look great or what? I am very impressed with your work on this guy. Are you diggin' it? You better be, cause they don't get much better....

Also, careful with the wood filler....as that wood will not be done "moving" for like a year or so. You may need to re-do the filler as he checks further and the gaps open more.
