I use a computer mainly for internet surfing , emailing and Skype . I do not game . All I need is a basic machine with say 2GB of memory and 80-120 HDD . Over here in Japan I can get a Dell desktop with Vista or a laptop with XP for around $ 850 . An Imac would run $ 1500 . I'd really like to say sayonara to Windows , but we're talking a $ 650 difference and I know I'd never take advantage of all the advantages Mac offers . Have to decide soon ...
