I'm a newbie. After searching for particular book titles with limited success, I have a question. Would others find useful a forum for book reviews that works like the 'Locating Tiki' forum? New books are reviewed from time to time, but not older source books. For instance, a recent posting included a photo of someone's tiki bookshelf. I'd love to know his/her opinion of "Fijian Weapons and Warfare" without bugging them through the pm facility. An sample post would be:

No Sort of Iron: Culture of Cook's Polynesians
Edited by Roger Duff
Souvenir handbook for a 1969-1970 exhibition of Cook Expedition artifacts.
12 pages of background information.
173 B&W photos of exhibited ojects with use, size, and source; grouped by islands.
5 page biography on expedition naturalists.
Unannotated bibliography.
No index. List of Cook museum collections.
