I just got mine and my wahine and I think it's fabulous. I haven't started reading yet, just took in the pictures. I like the fact that it looks like Sven parallels the influence of the exotic and primitive in other areas of art and society. One of the things I loved about history and art history is seeing parallels in fine art (all branches), pop culture, politics, sociology, economics, religion, etc. It's all really intertwined- developments in each, will be influenced by, and have influence on, developments in the other area, they're all part of the human experience.
