Picked up this gorgeous set of "Cannibal Dinnerware" today at a local antique shoppe for only $10! They were carved in Ashland, Wisconsin, by a guy named Peter Mellick. I think they look more African influenced than Polynesian, possibly some Native American in there as well, and I have no idea if they're vintage or contemporary. What do y'all think? |
