Finally made it to Sam's. While the thatching is gone from the bar, the tikis remain intact and the murals in the restaurant are glorious. Also, the entire place now glows with candlelight and has shed it's diner feel. It is now a much more romantic and classy dinning experience. PS-The Pearl Harbor newsclippings with their totally non-PC references to "Japs" are also gone. |
