I plan on grabbing one or two Charbays at Astor's next Sunday. I have heard some very good things about them from a person who's opinion I trust.

If you want to hold off, PM me next Tuesday or Wednesday and I'll give it a quick tasting and pass on my thoughts.

I found that person's comments:

It's weird I've had a chance to try white rums from Charbay and House
Spirits and they both are using sugar as source material for their rum
instead of molasses. Puzzling. The rums taste weird, like a cross
between rhum agricole and something else I can't quite define.

To me, this sounds very interesting. But it's not something that I would recommend to someone who is not intimately familiar with unaged agricoles and/or cachacas.
