I used to live about a mile from Damon's. (I moved away in 2000)
I used to go there quite often. The food is great, but not a great TIPSY factor. The overall atmosphere is very Polynesian. On a recent trip, I discovered that the restaurant has changed ownership, and the old owners took the Leeteg painting with them.
