I actually moved to Kalamazoo right as this place was closing (they were selling off their fixtures at the time). I had no idea of it's Tiki past at the time, and quite honestly that you even discovered this place is amazing to me. it just looked like a run down Chinese restaurant next to a run down gas station and a motel that probably had hourly rates. I jokingly thought I should go in and buy some of their fixtures (not imagining the real possibilities) but money was tight so I drove on by several times.

My point is this, why would anyone be mad about the timing of your original posts if I'm not? I'm new to posting on the forum but have been viewing them for a while now. It seems to me it's just a lot of crying over spilled milk. I applaud anyone who does the leg work to discover a piece of the Tiki movements history.
