Here are this year's pickled goodies - First up - the disaster! This was one of my favorites - a larger head sculpted in a dark and rich clay body. I picked it up yesterday only to find that another pot had fallen on it during the firing! You can see the spattered glaze and ground-down area on the lower left. Ug! So - looks like this guy will be living on my shelf: Next up we have the largest and most detailed pickled head of the season - I'm still working on a name for this guy.... chief wrinkles? The forgotten Warrior? I dunno... and lastly I have a nifty set of two smaller pickled heads - the Long Lost Pike Brothers: I'll be adding more info soon on my site.
