Roger Welch (Capt Nebraska?)has sections on this topic in his books on tractor restoration as a form of relaxation. It seems however that most of your unsucessful teqniques were what he reccomends. (Penetrating Oil, tap with a hammer, twist backwords, and try again in a few hours is his favorite) Glad you got it fixed tho...Old VWs get a good price now, I hope it pays off big for you. Cheers |
