I posted the Ojai drink in the Drinks based on TC folk. It got me to thinking how much I had been influenced by this man. Most of you have never heard of him. If you are interested Wikipedia has some good info on Krishnamurti.

When I was five my mother put me in a military academy in Santa Monica, Ramsey Military Academy. it was its final year and she needed another school. Being the Bohemian as she was, she chose Khrisnamurti's school in Ojai for balance I guess to reinforce the dicotomy of life or something like that.
So I went from a military academy to a peace, love and happiness school.
Strict vegetarian (that part sucked) We used to get lessons from the resident granny, long hair and robes, soft spoken. Much different from the teachers at Ramsey. it wasn't until years later I realized that Khrisnamurti was a man.
I now make my home here in the Ojai Valley because of that time.
