Ken, your creative obsession is really enriching the Tiki revival with a totally unique and singular perspective. Talk about "Horror Vacui"! In your work I see parallels to the curvilinear, spiraling intricateness of Maori panels, and in the geometric repetition of Tiki's likeness in Marquesan patterns:

As Paul Gauguin remarked about the Marquesan artifacts he saw after relocating there from Tahiti: “The basis of this art is the human body or face. The face especially.
