Babalu - thanks. Most/all of my tikis are free-handed and are often carved on the fly. That gives them alot of the expression your talkin about. "Measuring" is a relative term. The finished piece may look symmetrical but in reality they aren't. After all aren't we all a "crooked". Here's a great example - my contribution to the flood of work thats being posted lately.
