Congratulations ..... I enjoy your posts, and hope to read more in the future.

Thanks. Sometimes I feel like I'm perceived as the resident crank around here, but that's okay. I know I put down alot of current trends in popular culture. That's because they deserve it! But I understand. No one likes a whiner...at least not all the time. These days I'm limiting my posts to only Tiki and none in the 'Bilge' category.

Let's see, a Mai-Tai has roughly 225 calories

Is that all? That's not bad. I've been successfully and unsuccessfully on and off Weight Watchers for that last four years or so, and have done rough calculations on the points values of some Tiki cocktails I mix at home from Grog Log and Intoxica. I think at one point I figured that a Tonga Zombie was 5 or six points, roughly 250-300 calories. That's not bad considering something like a Big Mac, which is off the freakin charts, is probably double that amount. I rarely eat those anyway... Maybe we could start a thread about Tiki cocktail calorie points on the 'Drinks and Food' forum unless someone has done that already (?).
