Thank you. Indeed, this is a good example of all that is wrong with Poly-Asian carvings: Not only is the body too naturalistic and human, it is also too large in relation to the head. In Polynesian art, the head, as the seat of mana, was always oversized. This guy looks like one of those chubby baroque putti with a Ku mask propped over his head:
