Between the storms sunset:
I started the second support pole yesterday.
The line to the left of the tongue is the actual front center line for this piece. His head is slightly turned to his left. He also has only one arm raised.

What an action packed minute and a half that was! I kept thinking Kurt Angle was gong to throw in a chair and jump into the cage for a chair smackdown!

Wow! C'Al in da House! What an honor! Thanks Al. Can I start name dropping you as "my good friend Al" when the topic of tiki comes up in conversation?

Ahhhhhh!Nightmares of the moment I accidentally cut a tooth from my Oki Benzart Tutorial tiki! It seemed to fly through the air in slow motion right in front of Ben! How does this new bass piece compare to your finished Oki tutorial from just over a year ago?
Here they are: the new one one the left and the Benzart on the right
They're similar in that neither one is finished at this point.
I shelved it back then while I honed my skills with the knife. I wanted some more practice before I tried all the hard stuff on it, and just never got back to it. Still do not know if I'm "ready"yet. I'll probably finish it on my second carving lesson with Benz, someday. Until then, it motivates me to get better, even in its unfinished state.
List of things to do today:
- Register new hotmail email account
- Register new fake ebay account
- Bid $2,500 on each of the two OA poles available now, never intending to pay
- Have a good laugh.
- Call the gay sex phone number on the stairs of the magic carpet golf course Moai
- hang up on Grog when he answers and hope he doesn't have caller ID
- Carve tikis
Why am I always so busy?
Buzzy Out!
