We all know the history. WWII GI's returning from the South Pacific ignite the Polynesian Pop Culture movement here on the mainland...... ...but I was not aware of this version of the story...
What an odd concept for a towel advertisement. But then I found this ad in a 1960 Sears catalog... Maybe there was an 'alternative' movement. |
