I was given one by one of the managers at Trader Vic's Las Vegas & I was genuinely shocked to actually like it. Go figure! I agree with preferring the original rum-based concoction, but the Vodka one was surprisingly good - really! I do remember a few Hukilaus ago ordering a Absolute Mai Tai sitting next to J.Titleblum at the bar. Shock and Awe!!! Then I told him it was Mrs. T's drink. Believe it or not, alot of islanders can't drink rum.
