Actually, we've been thinking of going back to Xel-Ha precisely because the snorkeling is so calm. The last few times we've gone in the open ocean we've been totally bitch slapped by the white caps! Good exercise, though! Xcaret is another good place for beginning snorkelers (and kids). Expensive, but lots to do. |
