My buddy Michael U. was in Monitor in the 80's. Monitor's side band was The Tikis. Here's Michael's RDF Society that he started back in the 80's devoted to the original BeachComber Escapist. Under contact, you could probably find out more from Michael himself about Tiki in the 80's. He lived with Jeffrey Vallance in the house with the TIki backyard.
