Well, if storage of the big pieces costs more than replacement and there's really no short-term need, then it makes business sense to sell them off. I'm more mystified at the selling of the plates, mugs and glassware - things that are being used, broken, pilfered, etc., and need to be replaced on a daily basis at their restaurants. Even crazy desirable items like the Port/Starboard Light glasses, and the Trader Vic Pig Mug were there. That seems short sighted.
