He was fun, only took me a few hours to complete. The head is Cherry, which is great for doing detailed carving like that. Ben - the head is stained and sealed with spray lacquer. Very subtle color but still real nice. The full body is pretty much done except for a string to hand from. I got motivated last night and finished the Birdman piece I had put to the side for a while.
