It takes me back to my teenage comic fanboy days when I would gaze in wonder at the works of Wrightson, Bolland, Eisner etc. (to name just a few). I have always preferred drawing to painting in many ways - there's just something about black ink on paper (no colour!) that is direct and honest and allows the artist's style to stand on its own. I'm also totally digging the noir feel blended with the tiki vibe. 13 prints eh? 13 chapters to the story...I can't wait to see what happens next!
