Last year at Rumfest here in London there was a Tiki Drink competition between some of our Tiki Bars, one of the rounds was a speed round, now I know many here would balk at the idea of Tiki drinks being made fast but this was for fun and quality still mattered. Also the guys involved are some of the best cocktail bartenders in the business.
Anyway, the winner last year was Rich Hunt from Mahiki who made the following drinks in 2 minutes 40 seconds!! and they all tasted good, points are not only given for speed but, taste and style.

• 2 Daiquiri
• 1 Caipirinha
• 1 Mojito
• 1 Pina Colada
• 1 Zombie
• 1 Cuba Libre
• 1 Planter’s Punch
• 1 Mai Tai
• 1 Can of Red Stripe

Now it is time for a rematch
The inagural “It’s a Rematch, Beeyatch” is the universe’s first and only competition –

without sponsors
with a cash money prize
organised by bartenders
for bartenders
held quarterly…
and last but not least….
£50 entry, winner takes ALL!
Second best……is the first worst
(wouldn’t like to be you mate)

On to business….

The rules are as follows….

• Entry fee is one crisp, ironed, £50 note. Change is for losers. No money no entry, fuck off.

• Entrance closes 1 week before the rematch, entry is limited to the first 20 competitors so get in early or wait for next time losers (If you’re arithmetic is shit that’s a grand to win, ca$hmon£y innit)

• Running order will be chosen at random and is final. Book the WHOLE night off, you’ll need it.

• Judging decisions are final. No whining.
• Practice makes perfect, don’t come half-cocked or you will look like a tosser. You’re supposed to be a GUN!

• Spectators, Supporters and Hecklers welcome. The louder the merrier.

The Marks….

65 marks for the fastest time
20 marks for drink quality
5 marks for cleanliness
10 marks for technique, style, pure class and zen-like mixing
0 marks for wearing braces, hats or chatting good, yeah?

Not sure of the venue yet but if anyone wants to come along it could be fun
