P pdrake Tiki Socialite las vegas Joined: Jan 13, 2006 Posts: 1771	P pdrake Posted posted on Mon, May 12, 2008 5:45 PM well, i just got home. what a great time! it was great seeing everyone and meeting new people. rory did a great job for his first time out of the gate. i'm happy that i went and that i remember the whole event and really got to enjoy the bands. monkeyman is right on, if you went only to sell you might have been discouraged. i planned this a long time before i decided to vend so even though i didn't sell much i still had a great time. it's amazing to be able to spend time around such nice, talented people. the show was really neat. thanks to everyone who donated things for the raffle and to everyone that bought tickets. we were able to raise $207 dollars for the surfrider foundation. i'll be contacting them in the morning to arrange payment. thanks again and i can't wait for next year, maybe even oasis.
