You wrote the same review as I would have written. I too was surprised (disappointed) with the lack of decor at The Castaways and The Tropicana. The Vegas hotels try to name their establishment in accordance with the atmosphere they project, and these two places just don't seem to stand up to their given names.

FYI~ HulaHula is a resident LV TC'er, and if you find yourself doing solo/bachelor trip to Vegas, be sure to let him know you'll be in town.
