I seem to recall a few questions about thatch and fire in past posts. I personally am grateful to him for the information. (And any firefighter for that matter.) And I doubt he just trolls web groups looking for opportunities to lecture people. At least he wasn't trying to sell us a shag/tiki/eames fire safety booklet on eBay!
