It was my understanding, after talking to Jim the bartender, (last year while attending Hukilau), that the Wreck Bar or the bar itself is listed in the national register of historic places. I was told it could not be altered. Please let me know if I am wrong. I might give him a call, if he is still there. Yes, it's not Tiki to some, but Joe Dimaggio and Marilyn Monroe dated there. It must be saved. |
