I was glazing all day yesterday, and was sweating bullets when I cracked open the kiln this afternoon to examine the fruits of my labors. Oh boy, was I a happy camper! I am going to withhold images of most of the goodies in the kiln till I get them closer to completion - but I can share this simian super-mug with everyone, may I present the Mug of the Monkey God! SUPER stoked with this guy. I will be shedding genuine tears when I have to box this up and send it away. Very happy with the "spout" at the top. And the color scheme. And the matte and glossy surface interplay. And the beady eyes. Heck, I just love this one! Mahalo for peeking. I'll have more photos up on my site this weekend when the auction kicks off.
