He gave a basic rundown on star navigation . Not enough for anyone to sail off into the blue yonder , but certainly enough to demystify the science . What came through to me , was that migration out across the Pacific , in any direction , was carried out with ease. If you ever get the opportunity to hear such a speaker , take it , even if you have no intention to sail .
